Introduction

Youmna Abdallah is an environmental writer and reporter based in Beirut, Lebanon.

Experience

In 2021, Youmna collaborated with author Paul Hawken to create tangible environmental action plans for individuals, businesses, and governments wishing to mitigate the effects of human activity and climate change on the natural world.

Previously, Youmna worked as a sustainability analyst for Impakter magazine. Her writing has also been featured in Deutsche Well, Impakter, and Ours to Save.

Youmna is fluent in French, English, and Arabic, and has worked as a disaster relief volunteer in Beirut, Lebanon, and in Luzon, Philippines.

Education

Youmna holds a Master of Science degree in interior architecture and design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy, and a bachelor's degree in interior architecture and design from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts in Beirut, Lebanon.
