Introduction

Warren McLaren was one of the earliest writers for Treehugger, from 2004-2012, including designing and launching the newsletter in 2005. Today he is an outdoor education manager at Santa Sabina College, while also running a communication design consultancy specializing in eco-design.

 

 

Experience

Warren McLaren was one of the original writers for Treehugger, helping to launch the website in 2004. Until 2012, he covered a variety of sustainable topics, with a focus on eco-design and retail. Previously a designer of outdoor clothing and equipment, McLaren is a life member of Australia's first eco-design not-for-profit, the Society for Responsible Design. His many years of practical land conservation experience culminated in his current job, managing an outdoor education manager at Santa Sabina College, while also running a communication design consultancy that specializes in eco-design.
