Vanessa Vadim is an organic farmer and gardener with a passion for environmental issues. Her column, “Ask Vanessa,” tackles everything from environmental impact of food production to head lice to disposing of pharmaceuticals. She also does weekly environmental radio spots in her hometown of Atlanta, reaching over 800,000 listeners.
Vadim has an extensive background in environmental writing and filmmaking. She has produced several documentaries, including one about her mom called, “Jane Fonda in Five Acts.”
Vanessa graduated from Brown University and earned an MA in English and Creative Writing from New York University.
