National Geographic launches "Places Worth Preserving" photo contest

A new contest launched by National Geographic Traveler and the California winery Frei Brothers Reserve promoting preservation. The contest ask participants to photograph their favorite places in nature&mdashfrom grand landscapes to sentimental nooks&mdashand share them on the Frei Brothers' contest Facebook page.
There will be a number of monthly prizes and a grand prize:
"As part of the photo contest prize packs will be awarded on a monthly basis, July through November and all entries are entered to with the grand prize. Each month the brand will award the top photo entries with gifts and gadgets that are designed to help us preserve, protect and enjoy those special places worth preserving. In December, the grand prize winner will be announced. That winner and a guest will win a California getaway that includes a private tour and tasting at Frei Ranch in Healdsburg, Calif., as well as three nights all-inclusive stay at the luxurious Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park."
