We know from the great contributions to our photo of the day pool that some of our TreeHugger readers are amazing nature photographers. So, here’s another opportunity to share your photos.
In anticipation of Earth Day on April 22, the Sierra Club is hosting a photo contest. The winner will receive an eight-day hiking trip through Grand Canyon Park, one of the most photo-worthy places in the world.
Here’s what the Sierra Club has to say about it:
“The Sierra Club has been bringing people to America’s most iconic and beautiful parks and places since founder John Muir ran the Club’s first outing in 1901. John Muir believed that if he brought people outdoors, they’d fall in love with wild places and feel moved to protect them. With more than a century of experience, we now know this is true.”
Fittingly, April 22 is the entry deadline. Get all the details about the photo contest here.
