Architecture doesn't get any greener than the work of Edouard François; we have called the Paris architect "the master of the green façade." François's work is decidedly low-tech and rooted firmly in the ground. We visited him in Paris and learned of some of his latest projects, like this Club Med northwest of Dakar in Senegal, where he is essentially building bird's nests for people -- pods on stilts made of wood, wheat, and clay.
