The Energy Gap: First World on Third-World Energy

In this BBC Radio 4 series, an English Midlands family attempts to live on the same amount of energy consumed by the average family in Dehli (this also means facing random third-world blackouts). Dynamo and solar equipment comes to the rescue. While the series seeks to find out how we cope with lessened energy needs, it also asks what happens as the millions in India, China, and other developing countries start demanding lifestyles with higher energy demands. Runs at 15.45 BST on Radio 4 all this week; listen to previous episodes on the BBC Radio Player. ::The Energy Gap [by KK]
