Most of us try to avoid Styrofoam cups like the plague, but sometimes you just can't get away from them. And figuring out what to do with them when you're done is problematic since many recyclers don't accept Styrofoam (it's too bulky and lightweight to be very marketable). Instructables has a great short video on making designer vases from styrofoam cups in just a couple minutes. Check out the video.
Some of the designs on the original instructable look surprisingly great. It looks like a simple enough craft and could be a good (extraordinarily cheap) gift made from something that might otherwise end up ocean-bound.
