Environmental Design+ Construction


We often talk about "mainstreaming the green" as if it were some dreamy utopianism. The on-line magazine "Environmental Design+ Construction" is evidence that green building is heading quickly into mainstream awareness. There are so many in-depth features here that we are reluctant to pick a favorite. A sample quote from a feature piece on a Jackson Hole Wyoming USA project: -- "By placing the sod roof on the second floor and raising the green area up, we were able to put the lawn close to the apartment residents and separate them from the busy street and parking area of the neighboring motel,..." We wonder if they'll let the elk up there this fall? Not sure the elevators are big enough for the antlers. Let us know which of their features you liked best.
