Design Graduates 2006: A Cardboard Concept by Anna Gover

Let us present to you the fourth project we picked out from the Goldsmiths College degree show in London after Li Jonsson’s musical fittings; a Cardboard Concept. Anna Gover clearly had enough of short-lived packaging and decided to tackle the problem of the obsolete by giving packaging a second life. With flat pack furniture being the fashion right now and with an increasing demand for electronic goods, individuals find themselves left more and more with cardboard boxes. Anna thought of other objects to turn the packaging into after it’s done transporting and protecting, like for example clothes hangers or miniature castles for kids. That way you don’t have to go and throw out the cardboard boxes but are invited to get crafty instead. For more information about A Cardboard Concept contact ::Anna Gover ::Goldsmiths College Design
