This bunny doesn't hop—it scoots. Made by Roebuck Studio from Forestry Stewardship Council-certified baltic birch plywood, the Bunny Scooter ($180) is meant to help toddling babes aged 18 months or older develop mobility skills and a sense of balance. Children can propel themselves along with their feet, or be pulled along by a grownup.
Available in eight colors, the scooter is crafted using low-emissions glues, as well as water-based interior wall paints. The Chelsea, Mich.-based company, founded by husband-and-wife team Kate and Barret Roebuck, sources and manufactures its products locally. ::Roebuck Studio and ::Mahar Dry Goods
