HT Naturals: Part of the Solution Clothing

Their Spring 2009 line is made from bamboo, soy, hemp, recycled PET, and/or organic cotton. The prints are really cute, including a scoop neck tee with tie across the back. Hoodies, halters, draw-string shirts and dresses are also popular next season, with bright colors and prints. They get a little more adventurous with a mens v-neck cardigan sweater. Could see this on a hipster, but it'll definitely take some confidence to wear a v-neck cardigan.
HT Naturals, a Canadian organic clothing company, has a young, relaxed, classic style in all of their clothing, with many styles returning season after season. Colors have also improved over the years by the increasing variety in their color palette and the gradual move away from neutral, earth tones.
HT Naturals makes a range of clothing items, including dresses, skirts, shirts tops, jackets, jeans, along with accessories like scarves and intimates. The store was begun by the duo Jason Finnis and Larisa Harrison, who graduated school and spent two years traveling in a van selling all things hemp at festivals and farmers markets, under the label Hemptown Clothing Inc. With a minor investment of $300, the two were able to turn their side-show into the larger company, Naturally Advanced Technologies, which is the parent company for HT Naturals.
While clothing is made in China, each facility is third-party certified and monitored to ensure that workers are given a safe working environment. All of the energy consumed by their computers is covered by wind-powered certificates for the next three years, as HT Naturals sees a responsibility to make their green business green. In addition, they partnered with Starbucks in 2007 to design and print all of the "My Starbucks" tshirts. While Starbucks might be taking over street corners everywhere, this one partnership saved 1700 pounds of fertilizers and pesticides through the use of organic cotton, as well as 7,500,000 gallons of water during the manufacture and printing.
