Great Summer Tee-Shirts for Guys

Some would say that girls have all the fun when it comes to finding good-looking, high fashion organic/fair trade clothes. It is true that guys have to work a little harder and dig a little deeper to find gold. But here are a couple of small companies making stylish and hip shirts out of organic hemp and cotton that are sweatshop-free and fairly traded—who needs the Gap after all. Tonic is a London-based independent ethical clothing label offering original designs printed on ethically sourced organic cotton. The designs are edgy and literate—one says Siegfried, another says Roy and another says H8:AM. THTC is more street; urban eco wear as they call it, worn by the likes of Wu Tang Clan, and the Asian Dub Foundation. All their hemp is grown in small family farms in North eastern China. For cool summer nights, The Natural Store has an olive and mud coloured print long-sleeved sweater that’s made from cotton with 100% azo free dyes. Time to go shopping. :: via The Ecologist.
