I already posted a video that showed the beauty and craft of Brooklyn's first modern distiller. Now the Made By Hand series continues with this glorious portrait of an urban beekeeper.
Given that urban bees are thriving compared to their rural counterparts, Megan Paska has found herself in the right place at the right time. Having watched urban beekeeping grow from an illegal, underground activity into an accepted part of community sustainability, she suggests that she too has found her place in society as a result: “This is the first time in my life when I’ve just felt absolutely on the right path.”
