They've gone and done it again! Funky designs, great collaborations and innovative materials, those clever folks at Worn Again always know how to pull it out of the bag...so to speak! For their latest collection Bon Voyage Worn Again have teamed up once again with Virgin, though this time they've moved on from airline seat covers and gone for the retired Virgin hot air balloons that take trips over the UK. Staying with the travel theme Eurostar has also donated old staff uniforms to be upcycled into new stylish travel accessories. And who, you may ask, have Worn Again brought in to design the collection?
Only none other than red hot UK designer Christopher Raeburn. Yup, I told you Worn Again know what they're doing! Raeburn has designed three products from the Virgin hot air balloon fabric including a shoulder bag, a reversible hooded jacket and a version of his distinctive ladies parka. From the Eurostar uniforms he has ingeniously created six products including a commuter bag, a haversack and a wallet.
Alex Ferguson, head of communications & marketing at Virgin Balloon Flights says of their collaboration. "We recognize the importance of making our business as sustainable as possible and, by creating these fantastic, desirable products from our waste with Worn Again; we've taken a practical step towards this goal. The chance to own part of an iconic Virgin hot air balloon is not to be missed, especially as you'll also be supporting sustainable lifestyles organization, Anti-Apathy."
We're also pleased to say that these are the first Worn Again products made exclusively in the UK. Bon Voyage is now on sale at the Eco Age store in London, all Terra Plana stores and online at Worn Again
