Junky Styling is no stranger to TreeHugger--from their refrubished threads to catwalk at London Fashion Week--and now founders Annika Sanders and Kerry Seager have cataloged their creations and process in a new book, "Junky Style, Wardrobe Surgery." Amisha Ghadiali, associate director of the Ethical Fashion Forum (EFF), tipped us off to the news and sent in photos from her recent wardrobe reconstruction; two old winter coats (one worn for 10 years, and the other 6) transformed into one--click through for the pre-and-post surgery photos:

TreeHugger correspondent Bonnie writes on Junky Styling, below.
Junky Styling is known for its edgy recycled clothes, mainly made out of old men's suits bought from second hand stores. The designers love using pinstripe and tweed and making these masculine fabrics into fabulous evening wear. There is no combination or re-creation that they haven't thought of. They can transform any piece of clothing into a sexy dress or skirt for that wild party you are yearning to stand out at.
