A fusion of fashion and philanthropy, Sense and Sustainability is both a runway show -- featuring ethical threads by Rachel Lyra Hospodar, Marcus Hicks, Helen Asir, and Swati Argade -- and fundraiser for the film First Sight. Set in India, the documentary -- currently in post production -- investigates the lives of those suffering from eye disease and blindness and follows the Sankara Foundation's efforts to eradicate curable blindness (85% of the 45 million visually impaired cases are curable). Click through for a preview of the fashion designs and watch select scenes from the film.
