Getting a good night's (beauty) rest is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves. It can reduce stress levels, eye puffiness, and dark circles in addition to repairing bones and muscles as well. And one of the things that getting a good night's sleep is dependent upon is your comfort.
We thought we slept well until we tested Natura's pillows, made from sustainable, earth-friendly materials, and then realized that we were hardly getting a good night's sleep after all.Our favorite Natura pillow was hands-down the Aloe Vera Dream Mate Pillow. Yes the name may sound too good to be true, but we admit we were ultra impressed. While the aloe-infused cover was said to, "deliver a slow, steady stream of nutrients" and give our skin a "fresh, youthful glow and promote faster cell regeneration," we actually we didn't really get to enjoy this part of the pillow. Perhaps it's because we used a pillowcase? When you can only spot-clean a pillow and its case is non-removable, we didn't see another option.
However, we felt that the other awesome attributes of Natura's pillows went way beyond its cover. We liked that the natural wool lining created a fresh, dry sleep environment which is said to repel common allergens and bacteria that thrive in moist environments.
But the interior of the pillow? Perhaps our favorite part: it was so darn comfortable! Made from natural latex (derived from the Hevea Brasiliensis tree in Asia), which is hypoallergenic, biodegradable and antimicrobacterial, the Aloe Vera Pillow cushioned and supported our spine and neck at the same time. Talk about a sigh of relief! It was similar to the feel of down, however, it was super supportive and didn't pack down like typical feather pillows are known to do. Needless to say, it's been quite a while that we haven't awakened to neck pains and didn't realize how terrible our current pillows were. If this sounds like you, we highly recommend replacing your pillows with one of Natura's selections.
Natura has been making all-natural mattresses, pillows, and bedding since 1994. They've always been committed to nurturing healthy bodies and believe that a good night's sleep makes for happier, healthier people and ultimately a better planet. We'll second that. Natura
