Juice Beauty first caught our eye back in 2005 and they're still impressing us today with their full line of skin care products that are created with an organic juice base -- as opposed to water -- and up to 98% organic ingredients.
I tried out some complimentary samples of their best-sellers, from a tinted moisturizer to a peel. Read on for my review.Ideal for summer months, Juice Beauty's SPF 30 Tinted Mineral Moisturizer, $29, will give your skin a natural-looking glow. If your skin is already naturally oily, you'll want to avoid it -- or combat the moisture with a powder. It's best for long days at the beach or in the sun when you want to skimp on the extra makeup.
Juice Beauty's Green Apple Peel Full Strength, $45, is formulated with certified organic apple, lemon, grape, raw cane sugar and willow bark. Be ready for your a slight tingling -- borderline stinging -- sensation when you apply this to your skin. Next time, I'll try the Green Apple Peel for Sensitive skin, $39. It will leave your face feeling firm and refreshed, and claims to help eliminate the appearance of fine lines.
Juice Beauty's Cleansing Milk, $22, is packed full of moisture. Though it claims to help remove makeup, you'll need more than water to wash makeup away; try using a face towel. For best results, use it in the morning.
Juice Beauty sources their ingredients from local farmers in California and they use solar energy in their production line. They also do not test their products on animals.
