Mythology, astronomy, and Samantha Pleet's recent trip along Iceland's Ring Road all inspired the designer's eponymous Fall/Winter 2011 collection.
The clothing exudes youthful adventure -- in the form of a playful silk romper and a boiled wool cape -- and enchantment with regal hues and embroidered detailing like tassels and star buttons. Take a look at the top looks from Samantha Pleet's latest collection of gorgeous, green fashion:
The details in Samantha Pleet's is what drives the designer's inspiration home: "A starry night sky appears on shorts, the cycle of Venus on the collar of a dress, and reflected moons glowing on the lapels of a blazer," she says. Pleet worked with an embroiderer in New York City, where the label is based, to bring the imagery to life.

The result is a wearable and cohesive collection of garments that, as Pleet says, "brings a sense of enchantment to everyday life, from work to a party, or while exploring dramatic landscapes and telling tales by the fire."
