From Los Angeles, California, comes a fresh, new fashion label called Cityzen Green.
Comprised of casual cool wardrobe staples, including tank tops, t-shirts and hoodies for men and women, the fashion label uses sustainable materials and produces the line entirely on the West coast. Take a look:
Co-founders Jami Hoffman and Gilles Barretieri were inspired by everything from travel, desert escapes, surfing, midday Venice, the Fairfax Farmers Market, to yoga" for their line, which is made with 100% organic cotton, dyed with low impact dyes--with the goal of moving to organic vegetable dyes in the future--and produced in Los Angeles, California.
The material is light weight and intended to fit loose, which is a perfect apparel for a a long, hot summer. With the low-cut tees and racer-back tanks, the women's wardrobe staples have added sex appeal.
With prices ranging from $52 for a tank top to $130 for a hoodie, the collection is on the steep end for basics but if it's within budget you can shop the entire collection on their online store.

The label donates $1 per shirt to Tree People, an LA based organization that plants trees in urban spaces throughout Los Angeles. By the end of July, Cityzen Green hopes to partner with other organizations across the U.S. that focus urban gardening and beekeeping.
