Ciel Goes Dancing and Parties Till Dawn

Sarah Ratty has turned the glamour dial to 11 for Ciel's AW08 collection. The strong colour palette of black, orange, purple and gold wowed the crowds at London Fashion Week last month. The glimmer of hemp silk satin, the richness of cupro cotton velvet and the beauty of the Indian hand block prints all say let's party! Sarah is recognised as one of the UK's ethical fashion pioneers and her experience shows clearly in the sophistication of her Ciel collections. She says of her latest creations..."Inspiration has been taken from two of history’s greatest party eras: Studio 54 and 1920s Art Deco. Inspired by such style luminaries as Tamara de Lempicka, Michelle Phillips, Ali MGraw, Diane Keaton and Bianca Jagger! With high gloss, glittering reflections and rich textures Ciel celebrates old-fashioned glamour with a beatnik contemporary eco-luxe twist. Go put on your dancing shoes!"

For the morning after the party the night before get cosy in Ciel's gorgeously chunky baby alpaca knits and get comfy in the new loungewear collection made from a pale pink and grey striped organic cotton jersey. The ever expanding Ciel brand also offers organic cotton lingerie and new soft colourful socks made from a pine wood viscose.
