Beauty Lab: Trillium Organics Body Polish is Still a Favorite

We are always on the lookout for new beauty products to try and when a company comes recommended by a friend, even better. So when Alexandra Grabbe, Innkeeper of the "green" Chez Sven B&B; on Cape Cod, spoke so highly of Trillium Organics' products (she uses nothing else in her guests' bathrooms) we knew they must be wonderful.

At first glance, perhaps it was the ingredients list that attracted us the most to Trillium. Each product contains a label with "ingredient, source, function, and purity."

We picked up a gift set, which contained organic Body Polish, Body Soap, Body Oil, and Shea Butter. We chose the Fresh Lime "cooling" scent, a neutral one so that our other half could try it as well. Going into the warmer months we definitely foresee purchasing the Pink Grapefruit "Refreshing" scent also. If scents aren't your thing it isn't a problem because Trillium also offers fragrant-free options in almost all of their products.

Our favorite product out of the bunch was the Body Polish. Maybe it's because we have terribly dry skin this time of the year, but we know our skin felt very smooth and incredibly soft afterwards. It is a one step skin maintenance system: cleanses, exfoliates, moisturizes and protects the skin. No wonder we felt as if we had just been pampered at our local spa! According to the Trillium website, the company was founded in 1994 and the Body Polish was the very first "Salt Glow" to be stocked in the natural products industry back in 1998. After all these years, it's still one of the best and still hand-made in Wisconsin! Trillium Organics
