Perhaps this little insect is really perfect timing for Halloween, but it falls into our weird solar device category nonetheless. The black back of the cockroach sports a solar panel so it can wriggle around a surface, and easily freak out unsuspecting people who glance in its direction.
Yep, definitely one of the stranger things we've seen solar panels attached to. Though what is even weirder is the thing is priced at a whopping $15 at Gadget4All. That's surprisingly expensive, but maybe if you're really into good gags, it's worth it.
