The short-term rental network, which features more than two million listings in 190 countries, has become the go-to website for guests wanting a different kind of hospitality experience while traveling. Instead of plain, anonymous-looking hotel rooms, a growing number of guests are seeking culturally authentic or unusual places to stay.
