Forty miles south of the Arctic Circle in Sweden is one of the world's more unique lodging accommodations: The treehotel. Comprised of seven "treerooms," each treehouse is a unique concept ... soaring high above the ground.
According to the owners, "We build our treerooms in the natural forest while hardly affecting the surroundings. We choose material and construction techniques that make as little environmental impact as possible. We build on live trees without destroying the tree and we do not chop down any trees or damage nature while building."
While all seven of the treehouses are unique, Mirrorcube is especially nifty for how it disappears into its surroundings; a magic trick, treehouse-style. It's just so cool ... and we've written about it a few times before. For more information and photos, see: Almost invisible mirrored tree house built In Sweden.
