In Graphics, the wonderful campaign for Intermache supermarket in France to promote ugly fruit should have been the big winner. TreeHugger has been shouting about this forever: why does fruit in the supermarkets have to be perfectly shaped to be saleable?

And now an ad campaign, Inglorious Fruits & Vegetables, that features pictures of deformed apples, eggplants and carrots. Bravo.

As a happy plus, the supermarket is selling these misshapen fruits and vegetables at 30% cheaper than the perfect ones.
