This website is called TreeHugger for a number of reasons, but one of them is that we love wood. When properly managed, it is the most sustainable and renewable material, sucking up CO2 as it grows and storing it when harvested and turned into the stuff of our everyday lives.

One of the most versatile ways of using wood is to turn it into plywood, which has been used in some very surprising ways since the early 1800s. A show currently running at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London shows plywood at its best, and includes some strange and wonderful uses of the material.
