Photo: Spiny tropical frog is smaller than a finger tip

This little guy from Ecuador is no bigger than a finger tip. Photographer Andreas Kay writes that the species is a blue-thighed rainfrog or Pristimantis crucifer. According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature, the population of these frogs is considered vulnerable.
