“I’ve noticed this trend in my photography where I have a deficiency of images that are easily photographed locally,” writes Photographer Donald Quintana. “A perfect example of a subject that I should have a huge image library of is our local sea otters. They are listed as endangered by the ICUN and one would think I’d be spending a huge amount of time capturing photos of them. But, and I’m embarrassed to say this, I only have a handful of sea otter images that I’m proud of. So I’m going to try for the next few weeks to shoot those animals that present themselves as willing and abundant.”
