Kungsträdgården station

Designed by Ulrik Samuelson in 1977, and with more artists adding to the fun 1987, Kungsträdgården station takes its cues – classical columns, marble slabs, sculptures – from the Stockholm Makalös, the 16th century royal palace, which was once located above. It's also a love letter to nature as well as nearby historic events like the Battle of the Elms.
