Photographs by Felipe Arteaga

Felipe is a technical field coordinator for the Rainforest Alliance in Ecuador; he advises on "best practices" at eco-lodges and other Rainforest Alliance projects. He is also an avid amateur photographer; after he accompanied us on our tours of the Napa Wildlife Center and the Sani Lodge, I asked him to send me some of his photographs. Felipe also provided the descriptions.

Every bird or monkey in these pictures is under threat, as the rainforest is cleared for oil, agriculture or logging.
