Tiger Populations Still Declining

The Wildlife Conservation Society's most recent study puts the number of remaining wild tigers at only 3,500 (and less than 1/3 of those are breeding females) -- but it also shows that 70 percent of the population lives in only 6 percent of the available habitat, making those sites key to the species' survival.
