Ultra-Rare Photos of Endangered Snow Leopards in the Wild

Scientists aren't sure exactly how many snow leopards remain, but one thing's for sure: their numbers are dwindling--estimates range from 3,500-7,000 in the wild.

In the mountains of Mongolia, though, a group of scientists from Panthera and the Snow Leopard Trust are tagging and tracking snow leopards using GPS satellite collars to learn more about the lives of these rare animals.
