Don Quintana photographed this long-tailed weasel (Mustela frenata) in San Luis Obispo, California. “My target species for the day were actually Lazuli Bunting and Blue Grosbeak,” he writes. “But hey, I’m not one to complain when long-tailed Weasel makes a brief show of itself.” We're not complaining either!
