Rick Derevan capures this Greater Yellowlegs (Tringa melanoleuca) and its reflection in Los Osos, California. According to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, these birds like both fresh water and salt water marshes. They feed on insects, small fish, frogs and the occasional seed or berry.
