This bird’s silhouette makes a striking contrast against snowy white trees. Bald eagles can be found year-round in some parts of North America, but they typically summer in Canada and Alaska, and head southwards into the United States for winter. They have been seen as far south as Mexico, according to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
