Say hello to an holcocephala fusca robber fly. Flies are usually something to shoo away, but robber flies are great for the insect world because they have incredible appetites for other bugs, feasting on everything from wasps to grasshoppers, and even some spiders. That appetite for other bugs helps keep a balance among insect populations in habitats where robber flies live.
