In 2013 then Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg announced the winner of the adAPT NYC competition to build a micro-housing demonstration project and the winner was nARCHITECTS, a New York City-based architecture firm and Monadnock Development LLC. They called their project My Micro NY; now it is called Carmel Place and is under construction. TreeHugger's Melissa Breyer took a run down and took photos showing the progress of the work so far.
