Broad has developed a construction system where the horizontal elements, the floor assemblies, are completely built in the factory, with plumbing and wiring inside, flooring on top and drywall under.

These are then dropped on top of special self-aligning columns and bolted together. All of the wall panels and interior finishes travel with the floor panel, so that workers can quickly erect the interiors.

It is a flatpack system, so shipping is not a huge cost compared to conventional modular.
