Podhouse at Night

Alex Johnson of Shedworking is quoted in the article, noting that it is slow to catch on in some countries, unlike Great Britain, where it is a very big deal; In Surrey, England, 5% of the population appears to work in them.

I have always thought the reason was a combination of temperate weather in Britain, and their history of lousy heating systems in draughty old houses, that made Britons comfortable in a much wider range of temperatures than North Americans might be.

A Podhouse might be great for ski resorts, but I cannot imagine running back to the office if it was under three feet of snow. More at PODhouses Are Perfect For Swiss Hotel and Permanent Camping
