There's a lovely tradition of jewel-like Japanese gardens at the Show. Last year Ishihara Kazuyuki Design won a Gold medal for their garden based on a Japanese fable.

This year they are celebrating the Edo period in Japan: the first time when everyone could have a garden, not just the rich. Once more there is a unity of beauty, with the japanese maples (acer) and the water, stones, moss and the exquisite house all coming together to create a small treasure. Winner: Gold Medal
