Last spring, we had our first son. Before then, I had never really given much thought to diapers in general, except to think that they're very wasteful after reading some articles on how landfills are full of them. And I knew even less about reusable cloth diapers, until a friend introduced us to the concept and showed us the pros and cons.
But the first thing that jumped at me is of course how they look. Now, how a diaper looks might not be the most important thing in the world, but it's still a lot more fun to see a nice variety of vibrant colors rather than bland, same-looking diapers that usually try to plug some Disney character or whatever... It certain makes the baby photos look better, and I know that I'll be enjoying those for a long time!
