As a writer for TreeHugger, a teacher and an architect, I have often been asked to speak. Readers have also asked if they can see my slideshows; I am working on this one now to present at a Passive House conference in Vancouver tomorrow night.
Passive Houses are a new thing in North America, and are growing, albeit slowly. I am looking at why it is slow, and how they could be marketed better. In preparing it I have been asking the same questions about the environmental movement and TreeHugger itself.
Because our story is not getting through and a lot of people do not want to hear it. A lot has to do, I think, with the history of the green movement.
