So I really was shocked last week when I learned about Architype's Enterprise Centre at the University of East Anglia What would those architects at MIT who designed the Monsanto house of the future have thought if you had shown them this, the real building of the future? How did we get here?

I decided that I really had to go back to first principles, and update one of my earliest lectures from when I started teaching. It was based on an important post in, What makes a product green? I had not looked at it for a while, but I realized that most people in the design world are just catching up to this. It's the basic stuff of green building and it holds up really well.
