There is the other side of Bjarke Ingels that I have complained about before; sometimes there is a good reason that architects do things in certain ways. For instance, it is a good thing that the ramp is a shallow 1:20 slope because even at this, it is a slippery deathtrap. I was nervous wearing running shoes; I can't imagine what it would be like in leather soles during a rain. And the metal was too thin and is now a mess, with duct tape and caution markers and bent panels everywhere. This will no doubt be replaced with diamond deck plating or something with more substance and texture within a short time, it's a disaster area.
