Carved from a block of FSC-certified wood, this simple coffee maker is elegantly minimalist. It creates no waste, requiring no filters, thanks to an inset stainless steel filter. All you have to do it rinse it with warm water after each use. (A special double-cup version is also available for a limited time.)
As Kimberley Mok wrote for TreeHugger when Canadiano first launched its pour-over, the company encourages matching beans with the type of wood:
"The Walnut edition is crafted and designed for use with darker roasts and earthier flavors such as beans from South East Asia. Maple and Cherry is designed for beans with slight citrus hints and nutty taste."
The coffee maker is made in Thornhill, Ontario.
