Norwegian photographer and filmmaker Terje Sørgjerd has got quite the reputation for producing phenomenal time-lapse videos, and he's done it again with a video of the days before the Arctic's famed "Midnight sun."

We also have the hottest bike accessories, a slick recycled shipping container home, a how-to on composting, eight easy ways to grow an herb garden, and more in our roundup of the best images on TreeHugger this week.

The Arctic's Midnight Sun

According to Sørgjerd, the footage is from April 29th through May 10th, the days leading up to the Midnight Sun, or 24 consecutive hours of sunlight, on the archipelago Lofoten in Norway. Check out the video below the fold.
