COP15's Final Hours: Hopenhagen or Nopenhagen?

It's already dark in Copenhagen as I write this. It's nearly the shortest day of the year and that means darkness by 3:30 in Denmark. Inside the Bella Center high level negotiations are going on that by all indications are set to deliver less than what's needed to prevent dangerous global warming. Current plans on the table are projected to lead to a 3°C rise in temperature.

That level of warming means death for many people in Africa, Asia, Latin America. It means the end of coral reefs. It means the end of many low-lying nations. Even if it's snowing in Copenhagen today and bitterly cold...
