There are some scary statistics surrounding water: Did you know only 1 percent of the world's water can be used for human consumption and half of the global population will be living in areas of "acute water shortage" by 2030? Already, some 300 million school children don't have access to fresh water and sanitation services. Murder over water? Yes it happens, and while experts estimate 2.5 gallons per person per day is a sustainable amount to use, the average American consumes 100 gallons per day.
